“Circle of Friendship”
aka “Jerome Quilt”

My husband and I were on a business trip in Jerome, AZ in October of 2003. We were hosted by a quilter, Leigh Hay-Martin. One of our days there we went fabric shopping. Randy, my husband, said we need a reason to buy fabric. So we made up a challenge. The three of us each had to buy 10 fat quarters. Randy bought the black and white. Leigh and I bought any color we wanted. Then we had to choose two of each. Leigh and I walked away with the exact same fabric. We both agreed after looking at our 30 fat quarters that we could bring in some black. The challenge was one. This is the end result of that challenge and is also known as “The Jerome Quilt”.
