Jerome Challenge 3

This was a challenge I did with some quilting friends while attending a kaleidoscope show in Jerome AZ in 2005. The challenge was that we all went home with the same fat quarters, the colors fabric and made a quilt. We could use up to 2 additional fabrics of our choice and we had one year to complete the quilt. We would then come back a year later in October 2006 and share our finished quilts with each other.

This is the end result of that challenge. I choose to use black as my additional fabric. I love doing log cabin quilts so I decided to do the thick and thin log cabin block for this challenge. After finishing the top I just had fun with the quilting. I really love how this quilt turned out.

This quilt was made in 2006 and is 95" by 95".
