My inspiration for this quilt came from a class that I took from a member in my quilting guild. I incorporated a number of different reds and black on white fabrics. I love to make black, white and red quilts. After a number of different lay outs I choose this setting to show off my quilting. The quilting in the solid black fabric is a continuous free formed feather that I quilted with red thread. I also did quilting in the black on white squares to make to red squares pop.

This quilt was made in 2006 and is 80” by 80”.
